I think that if we are not getting what we love in life maybe has to to do with the fact that we do not give what we love to life.
Just recall how many times you gave a “yes” when all that was screaming in you was a NO.
You gave a “yes” maybe because you were taught to do the “right” thing.
You gave a “yes” maybe because you were afraid of being rejected otherwise.
You gave a “yes” maybe because you were taught to be the savior of others and you thought they would drown without you.
You said yes to a job, to a relationship, to a friendship, to a habit because you thought you are not good enough for anything else.
How many times have you given a “yes” to life, when your true, desired response was a NO?
For all the “yes” that we have unwillingly given to life, life will come back with unwillingness to our wants. Not because “the universe works for us” and such nonsense but because we don’t appear authentically in order to be capable of perceiving what we authentically want, even when it’s there. Because we do not perceive how we betray our own selves.
Find your true YES and give them to people.
Find your true NOS and give them to life.
It’s a life process, YES! With success and failure.
With loss and redefining .
If you are willing to show life the direction
then life will show you the path.
